Moatize Coal Mine S3 Project is located in Moatize, Tete Province, northwest Mozambique. It is a key overseas mining project of PowerChina Sinohydro Bureau 10, and Africa’s first fully‑electrified green open‑pit mining project The local tropical climate features high temperature and heavy dust, bringing harsh operating conditions that set strict requirements for power‑generation equipment on reliability, environmental adaptability and continuous running performance. The 200kW diesel generator sets purchased in this project are mainly used for site construction, equipment commissioning and emergency backup power supply, ensuring non‑stop mining operations.
