Comler Launches Generator Inquiry for Uganda KKL Project

Recently, Shandong Comler Power Group Co., LTD officially released the procurement inquiry notice for diesel generator sets of Uganda KKL Project, inviting quotations from high-quality suppliers for complete sets of 30kW small standby diesel generator sets, 800kW high-power main supply diesel generator sets, as well as supporting operation and maintenance services. This cooperation is a key project of Comler Power to deepen its presence in East African market and boost China-Africa infrastructure connectivity under the Belt and Road Initiative, which will deliver core power guarantee for the full-cycle stable power supply of Uganda KKL Project.

1. Overview of Uganda KKL Project

Located on the East African Plateau, Uganda suffers limited coverage and unstable performance of municipal power grids. Industrial, infrastructure and commercial projects in the country generally rely on independent diesel generator sets as primary power and emergency backup power. The KKL Project is a key comprehensive development project in Uganda, integrating production & processing, supporting office, logistics and warehouse sectors with tiered power load demands:

1. 30kW Diesel Generator Sets: Served as emergency backup power for office buildings, staff dormitories and monitoring rooms to ensure uninterrupted operation of daily office and security systems;

1. 800kW Diesel Generator Sets: Used as the core primary power source of the factory zone, supporting stable operation of production lines, large processing equipment, cold storage and other high-load working conditions around the clock.

   
   

2. The project sets strict performance standards for generator sets, including high temperature resistance, high dust tolerance, long continuous operation and low maintenance cost, to adapt to tropical and complex field working environments in Uganda.

2. Core Significance of the Project Cooperation

   After the delivery of generator sets, the project will thoroughly solve the power shortage problem in KKL Project’s production and operation, fill the gap of independent power supply for local comprehensive industrial parks in Uganda, upgrade regional industrial supporting capacity, and boost local employment and industrial economic growth.
   
   

2. Deepen China-Africa Economic & Trade Ties & Implement Green BRI Cooperation
   
   

   This project serves as a typical practice of exporting high-quality Chinese power equipment to East Africa. Relying on Comler’s mature export supply chain, it promotes energy-efficient domestic generator sets to Africa, implements sustainable China-Africa energy cooperation, and expands overseas market channels for Chinese power manufacturing brands.
   
   

3. Set a Benchmark for Power Supply Solutions of Overseas Projects
   
   

   Comler will provide one-stop full-process services for KKL Project, including equipment supply, overseas installation guidance, intelligent remote operation & maintenance and genuine spare parts supply. It will build a replicable high-low power matching power supply model adapted to tropical African conditions, and share mature power supporting experience for subsequent similar development projects in East Africa.

4. Core Procurement Inquiry Requirements

Equipment list for this inquiry:

1. 30kW diesel generator sets (silent/open frame optional, equipped with control system, silencer, fuel tank and basic accessories);

2. 800kW industrial high-power diesel generator sets (prime power, standard with intelligent parallel control cabinet, heat dissipation system and heavy-duty base shock absorber);
   
   

   The quotation shall cover complete unit body, full auxiliary materials, factory inspection, export packaging, technical drawings, English operation manuals, overseas technical support and warranty after-sales service. Qualified manufacturers with original production capacity and overseas project supply experience are welcome to submit quotations and negotiate cooperation.
