The project is located in the Kambove Industrial Park, Likasi City, Upper Katanga Province, DRC. It is a key photovoltaic energy storage + mining supporting infrastructure project promoted by CREC-6 locally, covering the construction of photovoltaic power stations, mining supporting facilities and power support systems. The power grid infrastructure in the DRC is weak, with poor power supply stability, and it is highly dependent on expensive diesel power generation, which cannot meet the needs of continuous project construction and 24-hour mining production.
The 500kW diesel generator set purchased this time, as the core backup power source of the project's combined power supply system of "photovoltaic energy storage + mains + diesel power generation", will start quickly in case of grid fluctuations or power outages to ensure the uninterrupted operation of construction equipment, production lines and key facilities. It effectively solves the local power supply pain points and provides reliable power support for project construction. The equipment will be delivered to Lubumbashi Railway Station in the DRC, and the whole process follows international export standards to ensure the smooth implementation of cross-border transportation and on-site installation and commissioning.
