Recently, COMLER Power Group cooperated with Power Construction Corporation of China (PowerChina) to successfully supply one 300kW silent diesel generator set for the China-aided New Niefang Hospital (China-Equatorial Guinea Friendship Hospital) project in Equatorial Guinea, ensuring stable power supply for this key national foreign-aided medical project.
Project Introduction
The China-aided New Niefang Hospital is the first medical aid project provided by the Chinese government to Equatorial Guinea, constructed by PowerChina. Located in Niefang, Centro Sur Province, the hospital covers 15,000 square meters with a building area
of 5,665 square meters. It includes outpatient & emergency, inpatient, medical technology, infectious disease and logistics buildings, equipped with 124 beds, providing comprehensive medical services including intermal medicine, surgery, obstetrics and gynecology, pediatrics and laboratory examinations. It is the largest and most fully-equipped general hospital in the region.
As critical emergency backup equipment, COMLER 300kW diesel generator features auto start/stop, parallel connection, low noise and high reliability. It can switch instantaneously when mains power fails, safeguarding uninterrupted operation of operating rooms, ICUs, laboratories and life-support systems, providing solid power support for medical treatment.
Project Significance
This cooperation is a typical practice of Chinese equipment manufacturing and central enterprise overseas projects jointly serving the Belt and Road Initiative and the China-Africa Community of Health.
