In November 2022, Sinopec Zhongyuan Petroleum Engineering Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “Zhongyuan Petroleum Engineering”) and Shandong Khamler Power Group (hereinafter referred to as “Khamler Power”) reached a new procurement cooperation agreement. Khamler Power successfully supplied three 400kw diesel generator sets to Zhongyuan Petroleum Engineering. This batch of equipment will be sent to the Saudi Arabia oilfield project site for oil exploration and drilling operations by Teams SP26 and SP27. This marks the third cooperation between the two parties on the Saudi project, following the initial supply of six units in February 2022 and an additional unit in August.
Significance of Cooperation: Three Orders Witness Deep Trust
This cooperation began in November 2022. Just three months after the first batch of six units in February 2022 and the additional unit in August, Zhongyuan Petroleum Engineering placed its third order with Khamler Power for the same model of 400kw diesel generator. From the initial order to the additional order and then to repeated purchases, a total of 10 generator sets were procured in less than a year, fully demonstrating Zhongyuan Petroleum Engineering’s high recognition and sustained trust in the real-world performance of Khamler Power’s products. The first seven units have operated stably under Saudi Arabia’s extreme high temperatures and dusty conditions, helping Teams SP26 and SP27 set multiple construction records for Saudi Aramco. Based on the excellent performance of the equipment and reliable after-sales support, Zhongyuan Petroleum Engineering decided to purchase three more units to meet the growing operational needs of the two ace teams.
Project Introduction: Repeated Orders Support Ace Teams
The three additional 400kw diesel generator sets maintain the specialized optimization of the first two batches, designed for Saudi Arabia’s extreme high temperatures, sandstorms, and the stringent standards of Saudi Aramco. Relying on mature technical solutions and strict quality control, Khamler Power ensures the equipment maintains the same high level of reliability and durability as the first batch. After being sent to Saudi Arabia, the generators will be assigned to Teams SP26 and SP27 to further enhance the power support capabilities of the two ace teams. According to public reports, Team SP26 has been highly praised by the client Saudi Aramco for its outstanding performance since entering the Saudi market, setting multiple construction records. These include completing well SHHM-311204 in just 26 days, 12 days ahead of schedule, setting the fastest well construction cycle record in the SHHM block of the unconventional gas project; and completing well HMYM-471002 in 14.97 days, breaking Aramco’s fastest handover record in the unconventional drilling department. Team SP27 has also performed excellently, completing well HMYM-510602 in just 14.58 days, setting Aramco’s fastest handover record for unconventional gas wells. The addition of the new generators will further enhance the continuity and safety of field operations for the two ace teams, helping Zhongyuan Petroleum Engineering maintain excellent performance in the Saudi market, including its consistently maintained safety production record and high-standard environmental requirements.
Extended Significance: From One-Time Purchase to Long-Term Partnership, Made in China Wins in the International Market

Achieving three orders totaling 10 units in less than a year gives this cooperation trajectory significant market demonstration value.
