Check the indicator instruments of the diesel generator at the specified time, and pay attention to changes in the lubricating oil pressure and water temperature. The lubricating oil pressure must not be lower than 150kPa, and the cooling water temperature must not be higher than 95℃. Check the oil level in the diesel generator's crankcase, the fuel level in the fuel tank, and the water level in the radiator. If they are lower than the normal positions, they should be replenished.
Frequently observe whether the instruments and alarm indicator lights on the generator's distribution panel are normal. A red light indicates a fault, while a green light is the normal operation indicator. Check whether the charger is charging normally.
Listen to whether the operating sounds of all parts of the unit are normal. Touch the outer shell of the engine body, the outer shell of the bearing parts, oil pipes, and water pipes with your hands to feel if the temperature is normal. Pay attention to whether there is any burning smell or other unusual odors from the diesel generator or electrical equipment. If any abnormal conditions are found, they should be handled immediately; in severe cases, the machine should be shut down for handling. For any fault shutdown, the fault must be eliminated first, and then the reset lever on the diesel generator can be pressed to restart the generator.
